German White is a wonderful hardneck garlic that is great for roasting due to large cloves that peel easily. White wrapped bulbs are typically 1 1/2” to 2” diameter bulks with some gray and occasional pinkish tint wrapper. There are typically 4 to 6 very large, easy to peel cloves per bulb. There is a pleasant strong & sweet flavor with some heat that intensifies after some storage. The bulbs will keep well until March or April, sometimes even longer, if stored in a cool dark place.
